Privacy Statement

A brief introduction to DIQQ We are DIQQ B.V, a recruitment agency specialized in mediating IT-Professionals. In addition, we help our clients source the right candidates for their IT vacancies. DIQQ B.V. is located in Amsterdam, our address is at the Rokin 46, 1012 KV Amsterdam, and the company is responsible for processing your personal data in conformance with the EU GDPR law, which has been in effect since May 25, 2018. Candidates We store the data of (potential) candidates who have either applied for one of the vacancies on our website or who have been contacted by one of our resourcers or recruiters (and who are open to being contacted by us for matching vacancies). We store data on (potential) candidates for a period of 3 years. After this period, we will ask the (potential) candidate for permission to store his personal data for another 3 years. Potential candidates can access their personal data that is stored in our systems. If a potential candidate no longer wishes to be approached by DIQQ, he/she can file a request for the deletion of his/her personal data. Clients At DIQQ, in addition to storing general details on our client companies, we also store the details of the contact persons in the company. This data includes the prefix, surname, email address, phone number and the function title of the contact. As long as you are a client of DIQQ, we will keep the company details and contact details stored on our systems. After ending the client agreement, we might still keep these details on our systems, for example when a contact is linked to an agreement, invoice, or any other official document. Internal vacancies Have you applied for any of our internal vacancies at DIQQ? We are glad that you are interested in working at DIQQ. Unfortunately, we cannot hire every applicant. When you apply for a position at DIQQ but have not been invited for a job interview, or when we unexpectedly could not agree on your contract, we will keep your personal data stored for 4 weeks. If we receive your approval, we will keep your personal data stored for a longer period of time: a maximum of 3 years. We do this in order to be able to approach you again in the future, for example when a new vacancy comes up that matches your profile. Contact Have you contacted DIQQ by phone or email? In this case we will store your name and contact details, in order to be able to contact you again as soon as possible. Your personal data will be used for this purpose only. We will not automatically sign you up for our monthly newsletter. DIQQ will never share your personal data with third parties, unless we have received your prior approval. Mailings DIQQ sends out an email newsletter each month. This contains information about our field of expertise, news about DIQQ or our services, and vacancies that are available at our clients. You will only receive these emails after subscribing to our mailing list, or if you are a client of DIQQ and have therefore been included in our system. When you receive or open an email that we send you, we will track your interactions within the email, with the goal of improving the relevancy of our mailings. You can ‘Unsubscribe’ from our mailings if you no longer wish to receive our emails. The unsubscribe link is located at the bottom of our emails. Visits to our website DIQQ uses Google Analytics to track users on its website. We do this in a privacy friendly manner, in line with the guidelines of the new EU GDPR law. Cookies We use cookies in order to track website visitors. A cookie is a small text file, which is installed on your pc, tablet or smartphone. Due to the fact that we make use of privacy friendly cookies, we do not need to disturb you with annoying cookie notifications (you will see plenty of these on other websites). Storage period We store your personal data for as long as it will be needed, or as long as we are obliged to by European laws and regulations. Security At DIQQ we not only take your privacy seriously, but also the security of your personal data. Strict safety measures are crucial, especially within the recruitment industry. We make it extra hard for malicious persons to gain access to our systems. If, despite our efforts, any of your personal data is stolen, or when we expect the risk of a data breach to have been very high, we will inform you as soon as possible. Right to access and corrections If you want us to alter any of your personal details or if you want to know which data about you we have stored in our systems, or when you have a complaint or a question concerning the processing of your personal data, feel free to contact us.
